Silent Hill Origins

As any warm blooded RPG-babe knows (got the title from my hubby) ... any game with the words SILENT HILL is a must have... so when i got hold of this brilliant invention known to many as the playstation portable... I just gotta play!

I'm not really an addictus gamer like my hubby, you know people who's eyes are bleeding coz of playing video games 24/7, but I'm a sucker for creepy and psychological RPGs... (even turns me on... duh! morbid!)

I finished this game in one sitting... Not really certain but I think it took me 4 hours , I can't really tell coz I had to stop every once in a while to attend to Hanz' needs... What I like most about this game is it's simplicity, you would hardly get lost. I hate RPG's that make you go back and forth, causing to stop and look for a credible walkthrough. (I hate walkthroughs, it spoils the fun) I also enjoy the mind buggling puzzles within the game. It's not so hard coz the notes as clues are scattered everywhere. It's a good game... but I think they made it too damn easy...
it's not so scary unlike the other silent hill games... and the boss fights were a piece of cake... I ran out of bullets with the final boss so I just banged an old tv set on the freakin creature... poof! he died instantly.... talk about boss fight huh! but I guess that's the downside of portable games... you can't expect them to be long and challenging considering the battery life of the psp.

I'll give SILENT HILL ORIGINS an average rating... not so bad... not so good... but worth the time...

It's all in the Lipstick

Three things I can't live without? A mobile phone, a hanky, and a lipstick... Yep, even a perfectionist like me can be so "mababaw" sometimes. Lipstick is one of my most priced possessions. Why? well, it just so happened that I wasn't blessed with the cherry red kissable lips that lure every man. So for the less fortunate ones like me, lipstick (a good one) is a must-have. I've tried almost all lipsticks in the market... ofcourse I started with the cheap ones and I slowly worked my way up to ones that drains the pocket. My first criteria for a good lipstick... It should stay for hours in my pale lips... survive anything from a sip of water to a lip locking marathon... Most matte types can handle such an ordeal, but they're so dry that my lips seem to suffer from el nino... Even Revlon's first colorstay lipsticks were like that. Good thing they came up with the soft and smooth version. I was a bit hesitant to get one at first coz I thought spending 600 bucks for a lipstick was too much.(I'm not kuripot, just a smart buyer) But then I realized that if I add up all the cheaper brands that I threw away coz I was not satisfied... mas mahal pa ang nasayang ko... So I just closed my eyes and took the plunge... Turned out to be a very good decision... Got the smudge-proof formula that I wanted plus the shade that matches me perfectly... So the next time my lipstick runs out, I don't try any other, I only look for Revlon colorstay in fabulous fig shade and pout my way into the world... MWAH!
